It was a very happy one...

First and foremost...Happy Mother's Day to my mom...my mom-in-law...my sister and sister-in-law...my grandma...my friends who are mom's....my friends who are soon to be mom's and are waiting so patiently...my friends that are an extra mom when I need help or my children need spoiling.... and even those mom's that totally bug me on the playground... today we stand up and say hooray...or as Clare's card to me said..."you rock"....Cheers to all those mom's who are here and those who have gone before us!

Going to bed with a smile on my face...
  • Breakfast in bed (Chris and the girls woke up at 5:45 a.m. to get their breakfast making on....this is also why they voluntarily went to bed early...they knew they were going to surprise me with breakfast very early)!
  • Watching the girls sing 2 songs with the other preschoolers during church.
  • Coffee at Starbucks with Chris and Lee
  • Shopping trip to Woodfield...I went to Nordstrom's (finally got the Joe's Jeans) and H &M while Chris and the girls lunched at Rainforest Cafe.
  • A visit with my almost 93 year old Grandmother....and although the visit was filled with a lot of confusion on her part(and some on my part after she announced that she had a boyfriend!), there is something to be said for spending time with someone who has seen and experienced life for so long.
  • great dinner and a glass of wine

What a great, well-deserved day! Happy Mother's Day (a day late) to you, as well.
And YAY on the jeans--you shall not be disappointed. But all I have to say is that by buying capris, you've ensured the purchase of regular length ones come fall.
:)
Can't wait to see them!!!
