Get Snuggie?
Okay...so I'm guessing that most of you have seen the commercial for the Snuggie...you know the blanket with sleeves! I am not here to debate whether or not the Snuggie is a good buy or not (even though they do kind of make you feel bad about "normal" blankets, "Blankets are OK but they can slip and slide, plus your hands are trapped inside"...trapped? sounds very dangerous...I know some of you who have your own personal Snuggie and my children beg me for one every time the commercial comes on the T.V. What I am here to talk about is the commercial....If you haven't seen it...check out the link above to the finely crafted ad before you read on....If you have seen it.....I wonder if you agree with me in the high "cheese" content of this ad? Also I wonder if anyone who "starred" in the ad is thinking hmmmm I wonder if posing in a Snuggie by a bonfire, wearing a Snuggie at a football game or simply relaxing as a family, watching t.v. with all of us in Snuggie's will boost my T.V. career. Every time this ad comes on I am oddly attracted to how over the top cheesy it is--but they must know what they are doing because like I said my kids are begging to get one....a blanket....really.....you want a blanket? I will keep you posted if we buy Snuggie's or maybe you will see us at the next sporting outing clad in our Snuggie's--stay tuned :-)

OH MY GOD! This seemed very intriguing to me too, but not enough to break down and buy one. Found out later that my mom actually bought me one for Christmas...and let me tell you...it's WONDERFUL! I LOVE IT! Would highly recommend the Snuggie. No lie. :)
SOOOO cheesy - but I will agree with Dina - it's AMAZING. The comercial kills me - especially the entire family at the sporting event - all sporting their Snuggies - too funny! Ches calls it the SNUGLIE and won't let you call it a snuggie but it is pretty great! :)
I have to admit, I first saw an add for these things late night a few months ago, I just about spit out my beer it was so ridiculous.
And now here I sit, my wife on the edge of buying one of these things, and my friends extolling the virtues of the product. Seriously?

So, did you catch any of the Today Show this morning? I simply HAD to come back and post another comment, as Matt Lauer and the rest of the Today Show team was sportin' the Snuggie (Jennifer - my husband calls it the Snuglie too - what's up with that?!) and touting it's praises...
I think you really need to consider purchasing one in the near future. Or maybe 2, so that Chris can have his very own as well. :)
Dina - too funny - I was coming back for the same thing!! Someone put a link on my facebook page to a pic of Matt Lauer wearing the SNUGGIE!!! :) I think that you should get 4 - while they would smother the girls now, you would look so amazingly cute at sporting events wearing them all together (yeah...cause I'm SURE that you and Chris would do THAT!).
Thank you Jennifer and Dina for your input! I am sooo bummed I missed Matt Lauer in a Snuggie--that's awesome!
If heating bills keep going up, next Winter we'll ALL be wearing SNUGGIES.
